The L8 Arrivals

Helping To Keep Local Music Live !

The L8 Arrivals came together under the guidance of Mr Tim Robinson (of the well-established band Claret) who was the trio's music teacher, and instrumental in the trio getting together in 2008.

For many years now:
Tim and his wife Sandra, have been running the ever popular Cheque-Mates weekly open-mic.

The L8 Arrivals hale from the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham and consist of:

Ross Mckinly: Lead guitar & vocals.
Graham Barber: Fnger-picking guitar style and vocals
Brian Phelps: Rhythm guitar and singer song writer.

Their repertoire represents the various styles and interests of the individuals in the trio, including 50's rock & pop music + traditional & contemporary folk music.

The trio performs much of its own material written by Brian Phelps along with poems put to music from Annette Barber's original work.

The L8 Arrivals have recorded two CD's to date, consisting of original compositions, recorded at Meadow Farm Studio. All proceeds from the sale of the CD's go to Wilson Stuart Special School.
